In episode 5, I answer questions about how to find time for our families inside of 60-hour work weeks, how to really tie your dreams to your family’s dreams, and how to talk to your kids about why you do the things you do.
In this episode, I tackle a few questions…
About Balancing Work and Family Time:
I’m working 70 hours a week and still barely making it. How could possibly get the time I need with my kids without losing the ability to support them?
How do you have time to do a show like this when you run a business and spend so much time with your family?
About Talking to My Kids About My Dreams and Ambitions:
In your episode on letting my family share my dreams, you said you tied in your dreams with theirs. Can you tell us more about how you did that?
Joel, you keep talking about explaining to my kids the importance of what I do and how why it’s important to me, but I’m not sure that they would understand what I do and why I do it. They are only 2 and 3.
About Working from Home and from the Office:
Obviously you can do the things that you talk about because you work from home. I can’t work from home.
And About My Family:
Does your family mind you talking about them on a public show?
